On to number 8: The Lion King:
This is where the fun starts: or what I’d like to call “My Surprise Choices”. This is the one and only animated film in my top 10 and it isn’t Japanese (most of my favourite Japanese animations are long running TV shows).
The Lion King’s animation isn’t as good as most of Pixar’s offerings and I wouldn’t say it’s as funny as those either, but for the overall experience I prefer it. A great storyline, some excellent voice casting and some great catchy tunes make this film.

Note: If you get the chance to go and see the musical, do, I would even say it’s better than the film.
