Ooh I’ve almost finished. In at number 2 The Shawshank Redemption. If you haven’t seen this film then why are you reading this website? Even Nick agrees with me on this one. An excellent film about two people in prison and the relationship that they form. I’m not very good at reviewing films so go and read Nick’s review. In short you have the excellent Morgan Freeman playing alongside Tim Robbins and the film is a delight to watch. It always comes as a surprise that Stephen King wrote this film, as he is usually known for his horror.

Into my top three we start with comedy gold Grosse Pointe Blank. A story about a hitman who goes back to his high school reunion. This film is brilliant, you’ve got excellent acting from John Cusack and Minnie Driver as well as brilliant support from Dan Aykroyd. I also have to mention the amazing soundtrack. I saw this film and immediately had to go out and buy the CD (Took me a while to find, but I did). You’ve got Guns N Roses, Davie Bowie and Queen, The Clash and Faith No More in there as well as the title song by the Violent Femmes. I’d recommend getting the CD if you haven’t already.
