Wooglie's Thoughts

Watched this film on DVD last week, I heard quite a bit of positive reports about this film, especially after it won a BAFTA for Best British Film. The film is set in 1983 and is about a young boy who falls in with a gang of skinheads after being bullied at school. There are some excellent performances, most notably from the young actor who plays the title role of Shaun, newcomer Thomas Turgoose. Shaun goes through many ups and downs throughout the movie and you can’t help but empathise with the him and you are really drawn into his life.
