I saw this film on Wednesday as well as the Orphanage and I really enjoyed it. The story is about two young boys growing up in the 80s who although very different strike up a friendship while making their own home movie. The film has some hilarious moments, especially when the two boys are filming the stunts. There are also some very moving times as the boys have to cope with with their tough home lives and the ups and downs of their friendship during the films creation. Definately a must see.

Saw two films on Wednesday, both completely different. This Spanish film was a very scary horror, but in the classic sense. Unlike a lot of films today that try to scare you with shock and gore, this was going for the tension and atmosphere and boy did it deliver. I jumped out of my seat at least four times during the film. The story is about a grown up orphan who returns to re-open the orphanage where she grew up, but things start going wrong when her son’s imaginary friends turn out to be a bit more real than usual. The film has an excellent sound track with creaky doors and things blowing in the wind, along with a very atmospheric score. The main character was played by BelĂ©n Rueda and she did an amazing job, you really felt for her throughout the film. Definately one to go and watch, unless you’re not a fan of this type of film.
