Wooglie's Thoughts

Actually saw this film at the cinema last Thursday, but only just remembered to write about it. I really enjoyed this film. The film was directed by Timur Bekmambetov, who also did Night Watch and Day Watch. The film is about a depressed office worker (Wesley Gibson) who gets recruited by a group of assassins, when he learns that his dad, who used to be an assassin, was killed. James McAvoy plays the lead character, the head of the assassins is played by Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie plays the second in command and mentor to Wesley.
Although the film does over use the slow motion shot, they are used to good affect with bullets being curved through the air all over the shop, as well as some impressive (yet highly improbable) car stunts. This film has an 18 certificate as you tend to see where the bullets end up in graphic detail. This is definately one I’d recommend you see at the cinema.
