I saw the latest James Bond last night and unfortunately I have to say that it’s just not as good as Casino Royale. That said I still enjoyed the film. The action and fight scenes were top notch and kept you on the edge of your seat, but unfortunately they ended up showing how mediocre the rest of the film was. Every time they stopped fighting for some character development or plot you were left waiting for Bond to start fighting again. They also carried on the tradition of destroying very nice Aston Martins, this time in the opening scene, which is always painful to watch. I would like the new Aston Martins to last a bit longer in these films. Overall I’d still recommend you go and watch the film, but don’t be surprised if you leave the film a little ambivalent.
