Saw the reimagined Star Trek film last night. If you’ve run out of original ideas for films and need to rehash an old film or TV series, this is how you do it. The film manages to keep all the old characters, but make them unique to the new film. Each introduction is done very well and usually with a good dose of humour. That’s one thing that surprised me about the film, it is very funny, yet without straying near silly. I’d recommend everyone to go and see this, from those who attend Star Trek conventions to those who haven’t seen one episode. Great fun and an excellent film.
